a little ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is YVONNE! I’m a violinist (violist, and can play a little cello)! I have a fulfilling full-time career in healthcare and education, married, mom to two kids and two fur babies. After a crazy busy day, I will spend a few spare moments on music if I can, after the house has gone to sleep.
I grew up playing classical violin and a bit of piano more as a hobby, as most of my life has been focused on my love for helping people with their health. A little less than 2 years ago, I felt an unexpected calling to create music. Without any experience outside of your typical violin lessons and school orchestras, I immersed myself into learning about this captivating new world, discovering that I could suddenly record the string lines that I had been hearing in my head when I listened to songs!! This transformed into the creation of a life-changing spiritual passion project of a cinematic string album (You can read about it here at www.storylightstrings.com, where I create worship music under a different artist name STORYLIGHT STRINGS). Providentially, my journey has now brought me into the exciting world of sync, recording songs for music libraries, and the incredible blessing of collaborating and recording with artists, which will now be under the artist name, ENNOVY STRINGS.
Words cannot adequately describe the thrill & inner joy I feel when I am given the gift and opportunity to add string lines to other artists’ music, and to my own. When I play my strings, something happens deep within where my emotions begin to pour out and flow through me, as I express these feelings through each bow stroke. I am always deeply touched when I learn of how how a song may have emotionally moved or touched someone’s life in a meaningful way. This is why I love music so much!! Music has this magical way of tapping into emotions that cannot be done any other way; bringing healing or helping someone feel seen or heard or awaken feelings that was hidden deep within.
